Angelia Pelham is a 29 year HR executive with experience in various industries to include hospitality, restaurants, and consumer packaged goods. Angelia has worked as an HR executive with such brands as the Walt Disney World Company and Marriott earlier in her career and more recently as a Vice President of HR at PepsiCo, Frito Lay, and Yum brands. She was the Head of HR at Main Event Entertainment and Executive Vice President, Chief HR Officer of Cinemark Holdings prior to joining Dave & Busters. Currently, Angelia is the Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Dave & Busters, Inc. headquartered in Dallas,TX.
Angelia was recognized as the HR Professional of the Year by the Dallas Chamber of Commerce in 2016. She also was the recipient of Black Enterprise Magazine Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business in 2016. And was nominated as one the Top Most Influential African Americans in business in Black Enterprise Magazine in 2017. Angelia is a native of Florida; born in Pensacola, FL. She holds a BS degree in Communications/Psychology from the Florida State University, based in Tallahassee, FL, and a Masters Degree in HR Management from the Crummer Business School of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.
Angelia has been married for almost 29 years to her college sweetheart, Pastor Dono W. Pelham. Angelia and her husband have one daughter, Ashley Juliana who is 15 years old and is a rising Sophomore at Prestonwood Christian Academy. In her free time; Angelia enjoys traveling abroad with her family and has visited 22 countries.
